Twin Towers Orphan Fund ~ Created on 9/11/01, TTOF provides higher educational assistance and mental health care assistance for children who lost one or both parents on September 11, 2001 (9/11) in the World Trade Center, at the Pentagon, or onboard the four downed airliners. TTOF is a program of The Children's Fund of America, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation.

My Dad was Patrick Danahy. I don't really remember much about my dad, but what I do know is that he changed many lives including mine. Everyone who knew my dad says that I'm just like him. I look like him and act like him. My mom says that he was stubborn at times and persistent in getting what he wanted. I am definitely both of those things. My dad worked very hard and long hours, but when he got a chance he would make every moment spent with us special. He loved to mountain bike, ride his motorcycle, and take my sister and me around in his Porsche. My mom tells me stories of all the nice things he would do for a friend in need. He seemed to be the person you would always want to be around. I will always miss him, but I know that he was put on this earth for a purpose. That purpose was to make this world a better place. He was a hero to many, including me, and still is. I hope that he can always be remembered as the wonderful father that loved and lived life to its fullest, and never looked back for a minute.
